I love my job! This is my sixth year at Jacques, after working as the K-12 Literacy Coordinator for Amherst, Mont Vernon and Souhegan for four years. Before that, I was a K-3 reading specialist in Deerfield. I started my teaching career in Rochester, first in 8th grade English, and then in 4th grade for several years. I'm currently in my 27th year in education.
I have bachelors and masters degrees from UNH and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Educational Administration from Plymouth State. I love going to school and hope I never stop learning! Speaking of learning, I spend my days with roughly 330 children and learn something new every day!
After living in Portsmouth for 20 years, I moved to this area 8 years ago. I visit the seacoast often and also spend time in the Lake Sunapee area, where I grew up. I have a 21 year old son, who goes to UNH, and a crazy pug named Louie.
